The Heart Behind the Results

At Improved Maths, we believe that every student has the potential to excel when met with the right combination of patience, expertise, and personalized care. Founded and led by Helen Lane, a specialist in High School Mathematics, our mission is to redefine the way students experience the subject.

Since 2011, Helen has been tutoring High School Mathematics, specializing in Grades 10 to 12 since 2013. Her methods are not just about passing; they are designed to improve a student’s marks by as much as 20%.

 
Our Teaching Philosophy: Shepherd & Coach

The Shepherd: For struggling learners, we provide a gentle, guided approach to “shepherd” them into a better understanding of the areas where they need the most help.

The Coach: For bright learners, we act as a high-performance coach, fine-tuning their skills and pushing them toward achieving a distinction.

  • Specialized Curriculum Knowledge: Deep expertise in both IEB and CAPS syllabuses for Grades 10, 11, and 12.
